Authorship and contributions
Authorship of articles submitted to the journal should be based on contribution to the publication, as defined by the guidelines of the Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE). The author is considered to be the one who has actively participated in the research in addition to writing the submitted manuscript. The first author is considered to be the one who made the most significant contribution to the manuscript.
All other contributors should be mentioned in the acknowledgments. In both cases, be sure to confirm that all parties agree to be mentioned in the published article. We will not mediate authorship disputes and subsequent changes or revisions may lead to long delays or retractions of the manuscript.
In general, Praxis PSY adheres to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). For more information, please refer to that website.
