Conflict of interest and funding information

To encourage authors to make explicit any link that could be understood as a conflict of interest, they are asked to submit the article the "Declaration of Ethical Aspects and Conflict of Interest" in which they must detail the existence of "any commitment by the persons listed as authors with the funding sources or any other type of link that could be understood as a conflict of interest".

In the case of a conflict of interest in an already published research, the manuscript will be withdrawn from the journal, explaining in an announcement the reasons that led to the decision. In addition, the association or institution that houses the author(s) in question should be written to inform of the fact.

Examples of conflicts of interest include (but are not limited to): paid or unpaid participation, equity or honorary participation, and personal relationships with others included in the study. Any unmentioned conflicts that are later disclosed may lead to long delays, corrections, or even retraction of the article.
